How Does it Work?

PDO Thread Lift provides a subtle skin lift by inserting and tightening a dissolvable medical-grade thread called Polydioxanone (PDO).

Sutures are placed under the skin and the skin is pulled back slightly to lift and tighten facial tissue. The body responds to the sutures by creating more collagen. The procedure takes under an hour to complete and is safe and relatively painless.

What is the recovery time?

The procedure requires minimal downtime, though it is recommended to avoid strenuous activity for the first few days. Swelling or bruising may also occur. Tylenol can be used to manage pain during recovery.

In the unlikely event that sutures move or can be seen under the skin, they can easily be removed or replaced.
