Why Permanent Cosmetics?

The objective is to raise self-esteem, self-confidence, allow for a more active lifestyle, personal freedom as well as saving time.

What is Permanent Makeup?

Permanent makeup is the art and science of implanting colour into the dermal layer of the skin with sterilized, disposable needles. It is putting the right colour in the right place so you can look better naturally.

Look like you… only better!

Permanent makeup helps give back what time has taken away and saves you precious time you normally spend putting on your face. When you’re ready to kick up your heels and go out for night, or want a different look, you can apply as much additional makeup as you wish.

Aside from the obvious esthetic enhancements and definition, cosmetic tattooing has many other benefits: These areas include areola and nipple repigmentation, vitiligo, scars resulting
from burns and surgical scars. Both men and women who need, or are experiencing the following, realize the positive results of permanent makeup:

Scar camouflage · Alopecia · Allergies · Unsteady hands
Visual impairments · Contact lens sensitivities
Areola restoration· Before and after chemotherapy

The process of permanent cosmetics has been used and endorsed for years by plastic and cosmetic surgeons, ophthalmologists, and dermatologists. They embrace these procedures as non-surgical “cures”.

How safe is it?

Technicians must follow strict hygiene and sterilization procedures that conform to OSHA and CDC (Centers for Disease Control) guidelines. The pigments are made of mineral and iron oxide base colorants also found in candy, pills, and confectionary.

Is it painful?

A topical anesthetic is applied to numb the epidermis and help ease any discomfort. Every client is different, some will feel vibrating or scratching, and some will feel nothing at all.

What is the recovery period?

Some clients may experience slight swelling or bruising, but it is not usually noticeable. Most can return to normal daily activities right away.

Is it expensive?

It is comparable to what most women spend on hair styling, hair colour, “perms” and normal maintenance. Considering the permanent makeup lasts for years before a “touch up” is needed, it is relatively inexpensive.

What colours should I choose?

There is a right colour for everyone. We take into consideration your natural skin colour, hair colour and eye colour. A soft, natural colour is always preferred. Your technician will help you choose the proper colour.
