Who benefits from Microdermabrasion?

Microdermabrasion is not for everyone. In fact it can do more harm than good for skin that is thin, dry and highly vascular. Someone with rosasea should not have microdermabrasion as it can exacerbate the conditon.

Microberm, however is good for skin that is oily, or with acne scarring, fine lines, black/whiteheads and age spots. It is a nonchemical non invasive treatment that leaves the skin feeling fresh and glowing by removing the outer layer of dry dead skin cells. A series of 6 treatments spaced every two weeks apart is usually recommended. Then monthly or bimonthly through the course of a year.

Realistically it will not remove deep wrinkles or dark pigmentation. In these situations it's best to consult with a doctor to determine your best treatment options.
